2022 SEIU 517M Tomorrow’s Michigan Today Scholarship Winners

SEIU 517M Tomorrow’s Michigan Today is proud to announce the recipients of our annual scholarship program. This year we had 32 eligible entries from members, as well as, eligible spouses, children, grand children and step children. Award winners were drawn at random from all eligible submissions.

Alex Allen, studying Computer Science at Knox College. The child of Dennis Allen of the Scientific and Engineering Unit.

Blaine Barkovich, studying Psychology at Michigan State University. The stepchild of Jeremy Wiest of the Scientific and Engineering Unit.

Sierra Beck, studying Nursing at Northern Michigan University. The child of Tony Beck of the Technical Unit.

Jania Clowers, studying Journalism/Sports Broadcasting at Michigan State University. The child of Torlease Patrick of the Human Services Support Unit.

Jack Cuncannan, studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan. The child of Nancy Cuncannan of the Scientific and Engineering Unit.

David Early, studying Education at Pensacola Christian College. The child of Doug Early of the Scientific and Engineering Unit.

Matthew Garcia, studying Kinesiology at the University of Windsor. The child of Melissa Garcia of the City of Saginaw.

Christian Gross, is undecided on major at Saginaw Valley State University. The child of Jeremy Gross of the City of Saginaw.

Sophia Herb, studying Biopsychology, Cognitive and Neuroscience (BCN) at the University of Michigan. The child of David Herb of the Scientific and Engineering Unit.

Braden Johnston, studying Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology at Ferris State University. The child of Jody Johnston of the Technical Unit.

Katelyn Kramer, studying Computer Science at Saginaw Valley State University. The child of Rebecca Kramer of the Scientific and Engineering Unit.
