Scholarship Fund Golf Outing Recap

A great day of golf for a great cause as 44 golfers participated in the 2022 SEIU 517M Tomorrow’s Michigan Today Scholarship Golf Outing held at the Wheatfield Valley Golf Course in Williamston on Friday, June 10th. The weather was perfect and everyone had a great time. The annual event raises money for the SEIU 517M Tomorrow’s Michigan Today Scholarship Fund to help members and their families with college or trade school expenses.  This year, we raised over $5000 for the Fund. The Fund awards fifteen $600 scholarships annually.

The winners of the outing were:

First Place: Team Seve and Sons – Steve Holmi, Dan Dell, Gary Simons, Barry Burns

Runners Up: Team RRDOT – Keith Krawczyk, Dave Benit, Cody Stoddard, Andrew Santini

There were also a number of prize holes.  The prize hole winners were:

Hole #6            Longest First Putt Holed – Jeremy Tripp
Hole #7            Closest to the Pin on Green – Joe Laird
Hole #10          Long Drive in Fairway Women – Amy Lipset
Hole #14          Longest First Putt Holed – Troy Summers
Hole #17          Long Drive in Fairway Men – Todd Pentecost
